Product Description
We take stock blades and customize them with a combination rocker radius tailored just for you. The combination radius can significantly improve your skating, even more than a traditional single custom radius. You no longer have to sacrifice speed for turning or vice verse, the combination radius maximizes the runner for top performance in all aspects of skating. This radius includes a normal skate sharpening. If you are an existing No-Icing customer and know your blade specs, simply select them from the drop down menus and place your order. If you are a new customer, email us for an interview form so we can evaluate your skating and customize your radius and hollow for you. If you don't need to fill out an interview and know the settings you want, choose them from the menu and place your order. Note: If runners are not ordered at same time that you order this radius, it will be assumed that you are sending in your steel for services. This radius option is for those sending in their old steel that has been sharpened before. New steel on skates right out of the box and replacement runners do not come sharpened. If this is your case, you will need to order "Custom Combination Radius on UNSHARPENED steel".

Amazing what a huge difference, especially as a new skater.
Bob, I am so happy to be writing to you and telling you I am absolutely blown away! I’m new to skating and hockey and had no idea how important and different the sharpening of skate blades could be. I’ve been at it only 4 months but was seeing some nice, steady progress. Each time I skated, I felt just a little bit more comfortable than the last time. On Saturday I played my first game since you gave me a custom radius and new sharpening. And it seems crazy to me that you got it perfect just from my answering questions! Bob, I had over 5 people say things like “What the heck got into you?” “Where did this come from?” “Wow dude! You are really getting better!” It was of course, what you did to my blades. I feel as though I got a whole year of skating practice under my belt just by the new blades. I can’t tell you how thankful I am. What a great company! And that you give proceeds to Wounded Warriors is absolutely wonderful!

Must experience to realize difference
I tried out the FBV and custom radius. The resulting experience is remarkable. It is noticeable in an entirely positive way. More predictable edge, more bite for turning without being too sharp for stopping.

What Difference Profiling Makes

Finally pro-quality service for the rest of us
The service is top-notch with intelligent reviews of your questionnaire, feedback, and finally fast and perfect delivery of the blades in exactly the configuration promised. The capability they offer to provide the exact sharpness, radius, hollow, etc is what I imagine NHL players have enjoyed for years. Now we commoners have access to this as well. Be honest when filling out the forms and feel free to ask questions. They are great about getting back, and are VERY helpful. It's clear they want you to get what you need to up your game. It's a huge improvement over basic sharpening you get at a regular pro-shop. And using the mail in service, you always have sharp steel handy. Good stuff.

Try this service!
I bought new skates 5-6 years ago replacing my dinosaurs. The rocker had me back on my heels and it was hard to get used to. I emailed my preferences in and received the shops recommendation. The skates perform beautifully. Now with another new pair, I sent the blades in to match my 6 year old pair and it leads to a seemless transition. Try the Flat bottom V also. Your glide will be much better. If you don't like it, go back to a standard radius.
