The STEP steel fits all Bauer goal skates with 3mm wide steel only. It does not fit 4mm cowlings. Blacksteel is STEP's Velocity polished steel with an additional diamond-carbon coating that toughens the edges, holds edges longer, grips better, is nick resistent, and also reduces the interval between sharpenings.
STEP is manufactured by a Canadian companies with many years of blade manufacturing experience. They use the highest quality materials and have mastered a proprietary process that delivers the best replacement steel on the market. This aftermarket steel is superior to stock Bauer steel. They holds edges longer and are less likely to break. Step runners are also 10% higher for longer sharpening life and better edge retention in turns. Price is per pair and includes initial sharpening. Radius not included. You must return to the shopping area and place your custom radius in the cart.
