Our QUAD radius is a combination radius similar to our regular combinations, however it consists of four fine-tuned radius for even more performance. These have been matched for each progressive stage of a skater's stride in addition to being strategically placed on the proper part of the blade. We offer 2 Quads for experts, both have greater speed and agility than our regular combinations, however, the Quad T is for those hot dog skaters who want maximum turning and agility, and the Quad S if for those power forwards who want maximum speed.
We've recently added 17 new QUAD radius for beginners to experts! These have been matched for each progressive stage of a skater's stride in addition to being strategically placed and properly sized for each part of the blade. Previously our Quad T and Quad S were primarily for extremely skilled skaters, now we have a whole range of Quads that will work for novices all the way up to higher skill levels. We also developed Quads specifically for smaller junior size skates. Note: To avoid theft of our hard work designing and testing QUADS, we do not reveal specifics on what the 4 radius are, nor their placement and sizes along the runner. You can NOT get these radius anywhere else, we want to keep it that way. In the past other shops have been caught telling their customers that they do No-icing's radius's. They do not. If you are on a Quad and are having troubles with it and want to change, simply describe your symptoms and we can recommend an alternative selection. Note: If you are sending in unsharpened Black coated steel, this is the wrong radius to order. We don't have a separate Radius option just for black unsharpened steel. They take much more labor to sharpen, so our surcharge for those is $30. How you order is to choose the Black sharpening option along with a regular QUAD Radius on Sharpened steel to come up with the right pricing. The Black steel sharpening option can be found in the Sharpening Options Category. Any Black coated steel except STEP and CCM brand SB Black requires the surcharge. Some examples of Black steel are Blackedge, Tydan, Massive, Bauer LS5, Blade Tech and any DLC coated steel that's fully coated and on the bottom. |
