Our regular sharpening already produces an excellent finish. These optional treatments take that finish a step further, with choices for everyday skating, important games, and added rust protection.
Original Performance Blade Finish (Sauce) — $1
Our original treatment uses a special compound applied during sharpening. Unlike an oil or wax simply spread over the surface, the compound is worked into the blade during the grinding process.
Designed to reduce friction and drag for improved glide, this finish is a great addition to your regular sharpening routine. The treatment typically lasts two to three skating sessions, depending on use and ice conditions.
